We all have at least one good novel in us, or so I’ve been told. For myself I know I have at least a few mediocre novels trying to work their way out. My ultimate dream is to one day write the next Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings over a lunch break, but until that happens all I can do is slug along with my writing exercises and meager attempts at character development. A great tool that helps me with these endeavors is a little freeware application called SLang by Ian Pegler.
