Joe’s Goals gets new reporting interface

Up until know my main focus has been the Joe’s Goals tracker itself and the reporting features have received little attention. Over the weekend I began testing and deploying a brand new reporting interface with four initial reports. The reports are pretty simple but let you access and crunch your tracker data and in new and exciting ways. All these reports are still “beta” so let me know if you find any problems or have any suggestions or ideas.

Here are the details:

New Reporting link in the top right corner of the tracker:

The pop form lets you define a report, a goal, a tag, and start and end dates for your reports.

Four Initial Reports:

  1. Account Summary - Provides a quick overview of your goals, your configuration details, your score, and your total checks.
  2. Score Calendar - Can be used account wide or used with a tag as a filter. Provides a day by day breakdown of your score in calendar format with daily charting at the top. Also provides stats for weekly and day of week cumulative scores.
  3. Goal Calendar - Very similar to the score calendar but filtered by goal instead of tag. Useful for tracking which days are better or worse for a particular goal and see all that data in a simple layout.
  4. CSV Backup. Here you can do a quick backup of all your account data for a given date range. Useful for crunching numbers in Excel for things not currently implemented in the reporting inteface.
  5. More to come!
